Precision Quality Control through Advanced Vision Systems
2023 marked a significant leap forward in enhancing visual inspections within our NDT portfolio. Our mission continues to grow stronger as we integrate technologies from diverse fields into our products and services. Over the past year, in collaboration with our partners and clients, we developed automated machines that can visually inspect millions of individual components annually and monitor extensive lengths of various materials.
Ten new innovations based on automatic visual inspection have officially entered our portfolio, currently inspecting 4-5 objects per second and up to 30 metres per minute. The year 2023 and the beginning of 2024 have been particularly challenging for the deployment of these modules in production lines. After a few months to catch our breath, it's time to look ahead and focus on the next challenges.
Our products and services are primarily targeted at high-level challenges where conventional solutions do not achieve the desired performance and objectives. In particular, our solutions are always customised layouts, incorporating a minimum of 3 cameras and sometimes up to 8 or 10 cameras to ensure comprehensive coverage.
Today, numerous players in the market offer reliable and high-quality products, combining hardware and software that seem easy to use and integrate into production lines. However, the key to a successful solution lies in the deep understanding of production processes, material knowledge, and, above all, the engineering expertise in major vision components (sensors, optics, lighting, and mechanical design).
If you are facing complex challenges, feel free to reach out to our head of vision systems, Marco Induti. With a background in Automation Engineering, over a decade of experience in vision technology, a strong inclination toward innovation, and a keen focus on cost control and management, Marco is perfectly equipped to guide you towards new developments.
