From 1 January 2023, all products that enter the British market after this date will need to have a UKCA marking.
The UKCA marking is equivalent to the CE marking. Through its new partnership with UKAS accredited Approved body, Zurich Engineering Ltd., a subsidiary of Zürich Versicherungs-Gesellschaft AG, Swiss Safety Center AG is able to offer its customers the conformity assessments they need. This allows customers to obtain conformity assessments for pressure equipment in accordance with Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU for the European market and Pressure Equipment Safety Regulations (2016) for the British market from a single source.
